HS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • Hallway Clean Up: Meet in your class hall after school today to tear down your hall. Please have people there and know what you need to save for the float on Friday.

The elementary voted on the hallways and here are the                     "Kids Choice Awards"

  • Auditions for Mama Mia will be held on Monday, Sept 20 and Tuesday, Sept 21 at 7:00 pm in the theatre. Even if you signed up at the meeting, please come to one of the evenings.

  • Volleyball girls, please see Mr. K if you need more beef tickets.

  • Seniors- please check your email for the senior profile page.  Please complete this page for the newspaper and return to Mr. Starr by Oct. 1st.
  • Yearbook is asking you to send pictures of the following for pages in the yearbook: You on vacation...and tell us where you went, you at work...and tell us where and for how long you worked there, and you doing anything in your off time...hanging with friends, playing in a band, travel ball, etc. We want to put you in print!! Please send all of the above to Mrs. Schultz at mschultz@wcwildcats.org. Thank you!!

  • If you have an out of town Homecoming Date, please sign them up in the office.
  • Students who signed up to build floats next Friday do not need to come to school first - they just need to be at the fairgrounds by 8:30.

  • Speech/ musical folks, please don't forget to sign up for selling tickets for the griddle.  See Mrs. Heiman. Remember this is a fundraiser for our activities!!!!

  • Mrs. Schultz has ten 2021 yearbooks for sale. If you are interested, please bring $50 to her (Payable to WC Yearbook). First come-first serve. Thank you!

  • Any junior/senior high school student interested in an art career may wish to attend Portfolio Day either online or in person. See Mr. Buckley for more details.
  • Any HS student over the age of 16 that is interested in helping out with the Extended Day After School Program.  See Mr. Glackin for more information.

  • Candy Bar Sales are going on now between 8:05-8:25 in the Choir Room for $1.00/each.

  • Schedule Changes:The last day to DROP a WC course (and still have 6 courses) is Monday, Sept 27

SENIORS:

  • Football/ Football Cheer/ Cross Country, Marching Band, Volleyball and  Foreign Exchange (students out for these activities) Senior Parent Night Pictures are due to Becky by Thursday,  September 30th.  Please email your picture to: bschultzen@wcwildcats.org
  • Senior pictures for the Composite Board are due to Becky by November 1st.  Please email your picture to:  bschultzen@wcwildcats.org
  • Seniors: Mrs. Schultz needs a baby picture by Oct. 1. Send a digital copy through email if possible; otherwise, she can scan the picture and get it back to you. Please make sure to put your name on the back.
  • Seniors: Mrs. Schultz needs a vertical pose senior picture of you for yearbook by Oct.22. Please have YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER email her the picture at mschultz@wcwildcats.org. This will alleviate files that are too low of resolution for print. If you cannot make this deadline, please communicate with her. If you do not turn a picture in, your picture day picture will be used. *This picture will also be used for your senior profile in the paper unless you submit a different one to Mr. Starr.

School will be dismissed at 12:30 on Friday, September 17, 2021 (Students will be dismissed for the day at 12:30 and may meet at the Fairgrounds at 1:30 IF they are planning on riding on a float)

EXTRAS:

  • If you like playing board games and hanging out with your friends, then the WC Table-top Club is for you! The club will have its first meeting on Monday, Sept. 14 and will meet every Monday after school in the band room from 3:35-4:45. There will be a wide variety of games from Settlers of Catan to Dungeons and Dragons. Other board games may be brought by other members if their favorite isn’t represented. Joining is as simple as walking in the door. Members must be of at least middle school age and having a ride home is strongly encouraged.
  • The WAC will be hosting a golf tournament on Saturday, Sept. 25th.  See the flyer near the bulletin board for more information.  Call the Meadows 873-3184 to get your team signed up.
  • Picture retake day is Sept 27th
