Welcome to Woodbury
Central Community School District
& its list of Employment Opportunities for
school teachers, administrators, coaches & support staff
To be a part of Woodbury Central Community School District is an exciting
opportunity to pursue your professional goals as you
work side-by-side with educated professionals who are also focused on
contributing to the success of WC's greatest asset: its students.
As a Preschool-12 District, one distinct
advantage of our school system is that all staff work in the same
building ... the elementary classes have their own wing, as do the middle
school and high school groups. All mechanical, support staff and kitchen are
also at this location.
This allows for
excellent communication, great staff camaraderie and cohesiveness, and a
supportive businesslike atmosphere.
In addition,
WC conducts a comfortable & effective mentor program for
beginning teachers.
It is the policy of the Woodbury Central Community School District not to
discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability,
religion, creed, age (for employment), marital status (for programs), sexual
orientation, gender identity and socioeconomic status (for programs) in its
educational programs and its employment practices. There is a grievance
procedure for processing complaints of discrimination. If you have questions or
a grievance related to this policy please contact Doug Glackin at 408 S. 4th
Street, Moville, IA, phone: 712-873-3128, [email protected].
The board requires all persons, agencies, vendors, contractors and other
persons and organizations doing business with or performing services for the
school district to subscribe to all applicable federal and state laws,
executive orders, rules and regulations pertaining to contract
compliance and equal opportunity.
